What makes Ruff Ridge Retreat different?

We offer intimate, small-scale doggy daycare & boarding here at the Chateau. We provide regular updates & photos so you can stay connected to your pet while you’re away. Every dog in our care is treated like one of our own, with attention, structure, and genuine affection. We prioritize clear & consistent communication, building long-term relationships with both our clients and your pets.

How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Reach out through our Contact Form — we’ll walk you through the next steps, set up a Meet & Greet for you and your pets, and answer any questions along the way.

Do you offer care for animals other than dogs?

Yes! We are more than happy to care for your other animals as well! Just reach out and let us know what your needs are and we can find someone who will be a great fit for your family!

How many dogs do you have at the Chateau at one time?

We typically have an average of 5-6 dogs at the Chateau property between our daycare pups and our boarding pups.

What should I pack for my pup’s boarding stay?

We recommend packing light, just the essentials: food, treats, leash, harness, medications and supplements.

For our Retreat Services, we require a 25% deposit at the time of booking, if you need to cancel for any reason up to 2 weeks beforehand, it's fully refundable; within the 2 week timeframe, the deposit would be non-refundable (excluding emergencies). Remaining balance due at time of drop-off.

Do you care for puppies, seniors, or dogs with anxiety?

Yes — we can provide in-home care for dogs who are very anxious, not socialized, or need special medical attention. For fully-vaccinated puppies, senior dogs, and anxious dogs who are friendly with others, we will arrange a trial Daycare / Overnight following the Meet & Greet to see how they adjust in our environment.

Is there a deposit required?

Yes — we are fully licensed and insured for your peace of mind. Our business meets the proper requirements to operate professionally, and we maintain insurance to help protect your pet, your home, our team, and our property while your dog is in our care.
